The Harvest part 8
Praying and Fasting for the Harvest — Matthew 9:36–38 Luke 10:1–3 Mark 4:26–29 John 4:31–38 2 Corinthians 9:6–13 — 2 Corinthians 9:6–13 6Now this I say, HE who SOWS SPARINGLY will also REAP SPARINGLY, and HE who SOWS BOUNTIFULLY will also REAP BOUNTIFULLY. 7EACH ONE must do just as HE HAS PURPOSED IN HIS HEART, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER. 8And GOD is ABLE to MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND TO YOU, so that ALWAYS having ALL SUFFICIENCY in EVERYTHING, YOU may have an ABUNDANCE for EVERY GOOD DEED; 9as it is written, “He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever.” 10Now HE who SUPPLIES SEED to the SOWER and BREAD for FOOD WILL SUPPLY and MULTIPLY your SEED for SOWING and INCREASE the HARVEST of your RIGHTEOUSNESS; 11YOU will be ENRICHED in EVERYTHING for ALL LIBERALITY (Generosity/Bigheartedness), which THROUGH US is PRODUCING THANKSGIVING to GOD. 12For...

The Harvest part 6
Praying and Fasting for the Harvest Matthew 9:36–38 Luke 10:1–3 Mark 4:26–29 — John 4:31–38 31Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” 32But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.” 33So the disciples were saying to one another, “No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?” 34Jesus said to them, “MY FOOD is to DO THE WILL OF HIM WHO SENT ME and to ACCOMPLISH HIS WORK. 35“Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the HARVEST’? BEHOLD, I say to you, LIFT UP YOUR EYES and LOOK ON THE FIELDS, that THEY ARE WHITE FOR HARVEST. 36“ALREADY HE who REAPS is RECEIVING WAGES and is GATHERING FRUIT for LIFE ETERNAL; so that HE who SOWS and he who REAPS may REJOICE TOGETHER. 37“For in this case the saying is TRUE, ‘ONE SOWS and ANOTHER REAPS.’ 38“I SENT YOU TO REAP that for which YOU HAVE NOT LABORERED; OTHERS HAVE LABORERED and YOU HAVE ENTERED...

The Harvest part 3
Praying and Fasting for the Harvest Luke 10:1–3 1Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come. 2And He was saying to them, “The HARVEST is PLENTIFUL, but the LABORERS are FEW; therefore BESEECH the LORD OF THE HARVEST to SEND OUT LABORERS into HIS HARVEST. 3“GO; behold, I SEND YOU OUT as LAMBS in the MIDST of WOLVES. The main truth from Matthew 9:36–38 is the same truth in Luke 10:1–3. We must focus on enlisting, equipping and employing laborers. The harvest is in direction proportion to the laborers. The more laborers you have, the more seeds you plant. The more seeds you plant, the greater the harvest. This goes back to my visit to New Spring this summer. What was KPI to hitting 20,000 in attendance? It was 5,000 All Stars (25% laborers). What percentage of Highpoint’s attendance are All Stars? Notice that Jesus didn’t...

The Harvest part 2
Praying and Fasting for the Harvest Matthew 9:36–37 36Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then He said to His disciples, “The HARVEST is PLENTIFUL, but the WORKERS are FEW. 38“Therefore BESEECH the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” SEEING the people, He felt COMPASSION for them, Because they were DISTRESSED and DISPIRITED like SHEEP WITHOUT A SHEPHERD. The HARVEST is PLENTIFUL, but the WORKERS are FEW. We must BUILD upon this TRUTH as a STAFF. We must PRIORITIZE VISION-CASTING for WORKERS. We must PRIORITIZE EQUIPPING WORKERS. We must prioritize matching STRENGTHS TEST with JOB DESCRIPTIONS. We must prioritize matching SPIRITUAL GIFTS TEST with JOB DESCRIPTIONS. We must PRIORITIZE EMPLOYING WORKERS. We must prioritize SERVING IN THE CHURCH. We must prioritize SERVING IN THE COMMUNITY. We must prioritize SERVING...

Matthew 13:44–52
44“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, 46and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it. 47“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; 48and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away. 49“So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, 50and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 51“Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes.” 52And Jesus said to them, “Therefore every scribe...

Matthew 13:44–46
44“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, 46and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it. Focused Thinking: The kingdom of heaven is like: A treasure hidden in the field. A merchant seeking fine pearls. A dragnet cast into the sea. “Which a man FOUND and hid again; and from JOY over it he goes and SELLS ALL that he has and BUYS that FIELD.” What this man HAD versus what this man FOUND is NO COMPARISON. When you see GOD’S TREASURE everything else LOSES its VALUE. You must GIVE UP your possessions in order to GAIN His possessions. You don’t WANT to HOLD onto your possessions when you SEE God’s TREASURE. When you find GOD’S TREASURE there is UNEXPLAINABLE JOY. When you...
