Where do I possess these qualities?

My commitment to God’s Word.

My commitment to spiritual disciplines.

My commitment to life-change in me and others.


Where do I need to develop these qualities?

I need more growth and development in prayer and fasting.


How do I develop the “hunger and thirst for righteousness” qualities?

The more I’m in the Word and worship, the more I hunger and thirst for righteousness.

The more I’m connected to God’s people, the more I hunger and thirst for righteousness.

The more I’m serving, the more I hunger and thirst for righteousness.


Interactive Prayer:


Father, help me strengthen my commitment to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Give me the courage and discipline to make this year the year of transition. Help me to move from leader/pastor to pastor/leader. Help me to focus on developing my walk first and foremost. Develop my teaching for You. Help me to prioritize my time to devote myself to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Father, I pray that my hunger and thirst for righteousness will be reproduced in our people. Help me to reproduce these qualities into our staff, leaders and church as a whole.

In the midst of his collegiate golf career, Chris had a crisis of belief that led him to abandon his dream of golf and to relentlessly pursue the heart of God.
