Matthew 6:1 prayer
1“Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

Going straight to prayer this morning.
Father, I’m burdened this morning by the amount of pain in our people’s lives. I’m burdened by the spiritual warfare and attacks that occur against our leadership and our church as a whole. Father, I ask that You will bind the enemy from our people. Protect us from his lies and attacks. Father, I pray that You will continue to raise up prayer warriors for our church. I’m thankful for Matthew Bryan and his faithfulness in prayer. Anoint him and give him favor to build a prayer team that fights the battles for us in prayer. Please cause the seeds of his prayers and of the prayer team to fall on good soil. Father, increase our numbers on the prayer team and truly make us a people of prayer privately and publicly. Give us the faith and courage to destroy the works of darkness with the love of Jesus Christ.
Father, we need to see You in a new and fresh way. We need to see and experience some breakthrough victories. Give us the encouragement of seeing many of the seeds that we’ve planted over the past couple of years come to harvest. Father, show us where You want us to plant new seeds. Give us the faithfulness to devote ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Father, honor the staff’s prayer time on Monday mornings and our prayer walks at Briarcrest on Thursdays. I pray for a breakthrough with Briarcrest. Give us favor with Briarcrest as well as favor with our congregation. Give us favor with people who could give significant gifts to further Your mission through Highpoint.
Father, show me Your vision for the next ten years. Show me what You want to do in and through Your church. Show me the specifics. Give me the ability to improve as a vision-caster and teacher. Father, show us how to design our church and our people’s individual lives around the singular mission of making disciples. Father, awaken the apostolic genius in our people.
Give me the vision to design M28 to accomplish things in discipleship that have never been accomplished before. Give us the ability to truly see it and understand it from Your perspective. Give us the ability to implement it the way You would implement it. Father, give us the ability to truly ignite a spontaneous movement that multiplies itself.
Father, use my apostolic, evangelistic and teaching gifts to ignite this movement. Give us Your favor and anointing to overcome the world. “Show me Your Glory!”
